November 20, 2024 Announcement: A federal judge has struck down the DOL’s recent updates to the overtime rule, including salary threshold increases and automatic adjustments, reinstating the 2019 salary threshold of $684 per week ($35,568 annually). Employers who adjusted salaries or reclassified employees in response to the now-vacated rule may choose to maintain those changes or evaluate whether adjustments are necessary.
