Renee McRae is a senior tax and accounting specialist on Global Business Advisor’s payroll team. As such, Renee oversees tax and accounting processes related to client payroll accounts, including filing local, state, and federal payroll tax returns and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. She supports the payroll team in the calculation and reporting of tax liabilities, in responding to questions and special requests from employees and regulatory agencies, in understanding laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures, and in preparing budgets, projections, and special reports for clients.  In addition to assisting clients, she is also involved with GBA’s Sunshine Committee, which manages the firm’s internal celebrations.

Renee studied Business and Accounting at Southern New Hampshire University.  She has over 30 years of experience in payroll and accounting; the most recent 7 concentrated in payroll tax, tax accounting and financials. Renee is currently working on getting her CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification from the American Payroll Association (APA) and EA (Enrolled Agent) license with the IRS.

Renee stays active running, working out, dancing, and riding dirt bikes.  She also enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and two Boxers.
